3 PHASES IN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

This video shows the evolving phases in the Educational Technology. The phases are Phase One – Using Technology to Present Dynamic Lessons, Phase Two – Using Technology to Access Information and Phase Three - Using Technology to Produce and Share Products . According to the video, teachers are normally involved in the first phase however the possibilities of the teachers to proceed to the second and third phase are usually based on their understanding and ability to utilize the technology itself (Osborne & Hennessy, 2003). Thus it is important for us to understand the three phases as a whole concept instead of looking at the three phases as an individual component.
